I'm going to be at UCF to watch my daughter play softball in February. I'm going down a day early as flights are cheaper so I thought I'd try to stay one night (Feb 7) at a DVC resort. There is a one bedroom preferred at SSR available (32 pts). I could also get a two bedroom at one of several resorts but that seems silly to get something that big plus I don't have a lot of points for this year and only 60 for next year. My question is what type of villa and which resort do you think would be my best chances for the waitlist to come through? Right now I am on the waitlist for a studio at GF and a preferred studio at SSR. I chose GF because I've never stayed there before and would love to try it. I chose SSR thinking that would be more likely. Now I'm wondering if I should put a one bedroom with lower points on the waitlist instead. Do one bedrooms typically come available easier than studios? Do you think I should take what I can get or wait it out a few more days to see if there are any changes before 31 days out? Thanks for any advice you can give!
