Our waitlist for Old Key West for our June trip just came through to replace Saratoga Springs, now just waiting to see if we get our Beach Club waitlist coming through.

Yeah, we also added Boardwalk Villas as a waitlist, either one would be good, as we tend to do a fair amount of EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, so there would be convenience. But Old Key West is nice for Disney Springs as well.

That's great! Congrats! I've always wondered how often those wait lists actually come through.

had a waitlist for July 4th studio @ BLT and when it came through, I legit cheered, LOL> we live pretty close so will head over at 4. enjoy the pool, reservations for a meal, maybe the barb q cue thing, and watch fireworks and maybe back in pool for a night swim before heading to bed. IT's so exciting when your waitlist comes in, isn't it?

Going on a waitlist for the first time ever for our upcoming trip over Thanksgiving and trying for Copper Creek 2 bedroom. We are currently at OKW and just want to try it out so much. Keeping our fingers crossed for the call to Members Services in 3 weeks to create this waitlist..smjj..ºoº

For the first time since becoming Members in 2001 two waitlists came through. We recently returned from BWV and got the Boardwalk view we waitlisted. In a few weeks we’re going to Hilton Head to enjoy the waitlist that came through for May 9-13!! I will waitlist my BRV October 2021 reservation and hope to get CC.

While I’m hoping for FW on the 4th of July, not going to hold my breath this year.

That said, we have reservations for MK on the 3rd & Epcot on the 4th (as they always had the bigger, 2nd display). Never hurts to hope

It is very possible, but considering that Fauci and Biden have both said that they don't think masks will be necessary outside the home by the 4th of July, I think more people will be keeping their reservations by then.

I think you're right, but it will depend on how many people are vaccinated. I think people will wait to the last min. see how things look and then decide. Also, many people in Europe will not be allowed on a plane without being vaccinated. so maybe a few last min. cancelations???

So here is our double waitlist success story: For our trip last month, we had booked a split stay Feb 21-24 at Grand Floridian, Feb 24-26 at Riviera. When we booked them, only preferred views were available for each, so I put in a waitlist for Standard View for each one. Luckily they each came through, returning 14 points to us. Then - when we got to the room at the Grand Floridian, we were pleasantly surprised at being upgraded to a one bedroom suite - we thought it must be a mistake, my wife ran down to the lobby, found the manager, who asked if we wanted to give it back - heck no! Then we get to the Riviera and end up with the Preferred view.

My last wait list just came through for the closest trip I had booked (at the end of May, with a June UY). So many reschedulings and moving of points over the last year, trying to keep some in my 2020 UY with the extended banked 2019 points that had to be used, vs my current 2020 points which had to be banked by last month, etc it was stressful but entertaining.
In the end, we got exactly what we wanted/needed though. Going to get spoiled over the next year with all 1 and 2 bedroom bookings instead of studios with the occasional 2 bed!
