Waitlist came through!!!

We were waitlisted for one night of our week long first trip home to SSR April 20-26. The night of the 22 was not avaliable at SSR so we waitlisted. About 4 days later a room at OKW came open for that night so we booked it just to be sure we had a room, but were so worried about two moves with two little girls!!! Today I checked DVC.com and there it was SSR came through!!!

PS - This is an extra blessing to us as we lost our home to a fire on Sunday Feb 3, my girls,the dog and myself were able to get out and DH was not home, we will be able to rebuild but it will be about 6 months. We thought about cancelling our first trip as DVCers but decided a vacation and some magic are just what we all need!!! So please, everyone be sure you have fire extinguishers in your home and check your home insurance- we had wonderful coverage and have had little to worry about thanks to that!!!

Have a wonderful vacation! And yes, it will be nice to get away. I work in Columbus, OH for a large insurance company and am also glad to hear that your claims experience is going well and that your family is safe and sound. Also...thanks for the reminder about safety. It truly is so important, and we don't think of it until we're in an emergency situation.
