Waitlist came through for NYE!!!

I'm so excited! The waitlist came through for me!!

When I made our ressie for late Dec./ early Jan., I got a BWV standard studio for 5 of the 7 nights. Had to waitlist for Dec. 30 and 31, right in the middle of our stay. The 30th came through about 2 months ago. Yesterday, I came home from work to find a pleasant surprise in the mail -- a new confirmation for our entire stay in a standard studio!

I know that the standards are hard to come by, especially at a peak time. So I'm feeling pretty lucky today. Just had to share!

While I have not been to NYE at WDW, I did at DL. That was crazy. I don't think anyone could walk, anywhere.

Congratulations! We are in the exact situation with a 2-br. All nights are in a standard except 30 & 31. I hope your good luck is contagious!

Hang in there, ronw! I have a feeling that when the 7-month window opens up for those dates (May 31 and June 1 if I'm figuring correctly), some people may switch to other resorts. Maybe BCV because it's new, and maybe VWL because they have awesome Christmas decorations (or so I hear!), and maybe OKW because it's fewer points.
