Waitlist and changing resorts how will it affect

I currently have a room at SSR but we were thinkin of changing resorts to something that is available that would be better for us this trip but we also have a waitlist at BLT that we are hoping and praying comes through, will changing resorts affect my waitlist??

Your waitlist and existing reservation are separate. You can change the reservation without affecting the waitlist.

But make sure you tell MS about the waitlist and that you want to keep it, anyway. Better to be safe than sorry!

Thank you for your responses... I will be calling MS today during lunch or nap and get it all changed over.
