Waitlist ??? about SSR should I add OKW???

Hi everyone. Okay. We have ressies for Nov. 15th through the 20th checking out the 21st for a SBR at SSR. I am on the waitlist for the 21st and 22nd. I have been on this waitlist since the end of May. Do you think I should try to waitlist at OKW too for those last two nights? I do have a backup plan to stay at Shades of Green the last two nights if SSR doesn't come through. I am sure OKW is full for my SSR dates too by now. Can you have mulitiple waitlists like the 2 days at SSR then add OKW for those same days and then add the entire trip at OKW?? Is that crazy?

I don't believe you can waitlist at two different resorts for the same ressie anymore. I thought that was changed recently.

I think you still can - the only problem - the first one that has your days is what you get.

This is also my understanding. In other words, you can waitlist for multiple resorts for the same time frame, but if one comes through, the others are canceled. At least, that is the theory...

My advice (since you have a back up at SOG) is to just keep the 2 day waitlist at SSR. I don't have a lot of confidence in the ability of MS to get the waitlists set up properly when the situation gets more complicated. You could end up with nothing based on some recent reports.

I would call at 60 days out and check on your dates.Openings seem to just pop up when you call.Can't hurt to try.

Thanks everyone. I am staying put with SSR. I do however want to try OKW sometime.
