Waiting to close and trying to plan

I am in the process of closing on a BLT resale contract. I don't expect it to close until mid March. I will have points to use before December. So I am thinking about windows that our family will be able to go.

What do you think the availability at BLT will be from Mid June through July for a 2 bedroom?

This waiting period is just killing me.

I would plan on staying at SSR. If something else is available then great.

Our contract just came through in late December. We received our membership materials and were able to book two weeks ago. We have a short window in June and were looking for a 2 bedroom. BLT was only available for 2 of the 6 nights. AKV, SSR and OKW had availability for the whole time. We ended up booking a split stay between AKV and BWV. We waitlisted for VWL to replace AKV. I did look at July for the week after the 4th and availability looked about the same.

Just chiming in to say I am with you on the frustration of trying to plan but unable to!

Our resale has had one delay after the other, and now we are looking at the final close not happening till the end of March & we have points that will expire June 1.

Good luck on the planning without any concrete dates. That's what I am doing too.

think you are pushing it to get a BLT - but hey try anyway - people do cancel.

just don't go on the wait list - try it yourself for a few days - if nothing = go with a different resort.

BCV also falls into this

that say BWV, AKV, SSR or OKW might have something.

now if you want something close to MK - might also try VWL - it is more unpredictable at least for me

Thanks spiceycat. Once I get my membership all set, I will be burning up the internet looking at dates and options. I'm a planner so waiting is not my strong suit.
