Waiting till Sun. Aug 24 to hear about Free Dining Bounceback??

Here is my question and it might have already been answered but I guess I am just as confused as the others..........In order to book the free dinning, do you have to be at the resort now? Or can I go online while I am sitting at my home and book free dinning for next aug/sept? My family and I will not be there until Dec 3 so if anyone can help me understand I would be so great-full. Thanks:confused3

You have to call while still checked in at the resort. The CM on the phone will check that that you're there.

I have a quick question on the dates (perhaps Batman could clarify ;) ).

I see that Oct 2-8 is listed separately, and there's been some discussion as to a discount on OKW or SSR and free dining. I'm curious, for these dates, is the promo ONLY for OKW or SSR, or can you still book other resorts?

Thanks in advance.:thumbsup2

Okay, I feel silly quoting myself :lmao: but I have one more question to add to this.

I read that each adult in your party can book a bounceback. This works out well for us, but we actually really need three rooms next year. So when DH and I are there, we'll book two. My next question is, my mother will be there in October, before the cut off for the free dining bounceback. Now, she's going there for a weekend on her passholder rate. Will she be able to book the free dining bounceback even though she's not on the free dining plan this year? Is it just as long as you're a guest in the resort during this time frame?

Thanks guys. :goodvibes

Is she there before oct 24? If so then yes, she can book the free dine bounceback. If not, she'll have to wait until general public free dine next april

Yes, she will be there before Oct 24. I thought she'd be able to book it, but just wanted to check with you free dining gurus. :goodvibes

Do you know whether or not Oct 2-8 is just OKW and SSR or other resorts as well?

those dates are just a higher room rate because it goes into a differant season

That's what I was hoping. I know that's no longer value season, so I know to anticipate a higher room rate.

Well, this is very exciting for me! My birthday is on October 9th, so I'm hoping that if I can hook into free dining next year, I may even be able to spend my birthday at the Magic Kingdom. Which would just be so cool. :thumbsup2

Has anyone actually booked OKW or SSR on the bounceback yet? I know there is a discount on these rooms but I am wondering exactly what the price per night will be and just how many guest can be in a discounted room. Is there a $25 per extra adult in these room? THank you for any help with this!!

So, is October 8 the final date you can book the FD bounceback. Will people be able to book on that date and up to 14 days past that date, as we have been able to in the past?

I would like to know too about SSR.

unfortunately disney doesnt release DVC resort availability to the public until about 9 months out so you cant even price out the OWK or SS with this offer yet.

Then I don't know how they are offering a 30% discount with Free Dining for next year. I wouldn't book it without knowing the cost. I guess if someone books either one, we will find out. Is it 25 per night extra for additional adults at these resorts? Thanks.

Thanks, so that means if we do get the price 4 adults can stay in one room and receive free dining and the discount? Also, do they allow a child under 3 as the other resorts do? Thanks.

Yes, they do. So 4 adults and 1 child under 3 can stay in a studio room for roughly 232/nt. I think it was (based on last years figures). That 232 includes taxes and the 30% off. The 232 also includes the free DDP....so all 4 adults get the basic DDP plus the room for 232 in total.

Thanks!! I was surprised to hear no extra adult charge. I wonder why not? Is that true for OKW as well? Thanks!

I booked this offer from my room at POFQ yesterday.

ASMu, 8/23-31 3 people, 1 day base ticket, no insurance: $984.37
CM specifically reminded me that I would be responsible for the tips.
I have not yet received a confirmation e-mail as of yet.

Observations:
Yesterday they could not add the deluxe dining upgrade to my reservation. It had to have been a glitch in the system - I was asked to call back in a few days to add the deluxe dining.

As to the above conversation on SSR and OKW not changing for the 3rd and 4th adult - You are allowed the additional adults when staying on DVC points, but you may have to pay if paying cash. I would confirm with your CM just to be sure.
