Waiting till Sun. Aug 24 to hear about Free Dining Bounceback??

PunkeE...you are right...it's a promotion offered to persons at the resort at a given time...you have to book it while you are there...the code wouldn't work otherwise. Hope that clears up the confusion!

I'm waiting (and hoping) for a free dining bounceback. Free dining makes it alot easier to get DH to agree to go year after year!;) We arrive September 17th and hopefully we can book something for the end of very end of August 2009 (August 25-Sept. 3 to be exact). Not that I've done any pre planning or anything!;) :lmao: I can't wait to see what may be offered on Sunday!:cloud9:

Yeah...welcome to our watch...let's keep each other posted on what we found out about FD BB!! Here's to hoping!!! ;)

I was wondering if you can book a "bounceback" package for someone else in your family. Does anyone know?

Thats right. You can book two rooms at the later dates but with the disney visa and regular free dine offer they will have to book within the shorter window. not sure the dates but it is usually shorter then the BB

Does anyone know the start/end dates of bb that was offered last year, verses what the general publics start/end dates for fd were?

So does everyone get a bounceback offer in there room? We were there during a supposed bounceback during the fall and it was not offered at our resort.
Can you call to book while you are there and tell them you want a bounce back offer?

That's the only time you can get a bounceback offer if available. Did you try to book a bounceback offer or just not see or hear anything about one? If you don't see a flyer in your room, the offer is usually on the WDW channel in the room. If you're there and don't see anything, it never hurts to ask!!

It wasnt in our room at Pop, we were not in the room enough to turn on the tv. I will have to make sure we do it during our free dining trip. Thanks for the tip!

I have very good reason. Im sure the people checking in on 8/24 well post as soon as they find out, and those checking in on 10/24 will post as well... didnt hear it from me though

We check in 10/12 will there be any bounceback offer during that time? I would love to book another trip for next October!

Did anyone recently get a bounceback offer that was good for 2009?
We just came back but I thought it was only for 2008.

I believe last year was 8/24 to 9/27. The general public was 8/24 to 9/20

Actually, last year's bounce back dates were 8/30-9/27 (just checked my flier--I save everything, LOL). So. . . does your magic 8 ball say anything about August? I can't decide whether I'd rather the kids miss less school and go in August or to heck with school and hit the F&WF in October!

You're welcome. I think the extension was 8844 to be called from the room.

8844 it was, or 407-541-5523. But you wouldn't even need the flier or the ad from tv--as long as you're checked into a resort when you book it, you'll be fine. At most you'll need the offer code which, I'm sure, will be posted here on the DIS as soon as it's available.

The flier does say "non-transferrable," but it seems to me if you can book one room per adult on your current reservation then, presumably, switch people around, you may be able to get a room for someone else that way. For a fully refundable $200 deposit, it's worth a shot!

So if my brother and his wife are in Disney staying and the BB is availble at the time they can reserve 2 rooms and give us one of the reservations for next year. Just wondering how it would work. We had a BB for this year from last, but my wife got Dianosed with breast cancer and missed a lot of time from work so we had to cancel our trip this year. We're just trying to get back on the BB schedule we go in SEPT every year. Thanks for all your help .

First, I hope you wife is doing ok, sorry to hear about the breast cancer. I know if you book a room while there all the parties do not have to be there to book it. My daughter, who was there and booked the room for this year, has her husband ( not there in 2007 ) on the reservation for this year. She is going on Sept 27 and has added another person to her room (after final pmt) no problem. I'm not 100% on whether or not 2 rooms can be booked, but if each of them booked a room, yes, they can. You can always add extra people to an existing room. Hope you have good luck doing this!! All the best you you and your wife!

We leave in 24 days for our free dining bounceback trip. This will be my 2nd year celebrating my birthday in WDW. I REALLY hope to be able to spend my birthday in 2009 there as well pixiedust: . Can't wait till Sunday!

Ok, so if my trip isn't until November, will I get a BB offer? Or are they just available certain dates? Also, I would love to do FD NEXT year. Can I get a BB offer for FD next year if I'm not there for FD this year??:confused3 Sorry I'm still a little confused! I've already put the $200 in my trip budget just in case. Although I don't really know what I'm talking about let alone what to do!

You had to book the free dining bounceback during the free dining last year. I think the last date for it to book on the BB was Sept 29. WDW offered the free dining in the spring as well until June 20 ( I think was when it had to be booked by.)

Everything terned out great, caught it early no chemo or radiation. I was thinking they could book 2 rooms sell us one reservation then back out on there's . Or could he just book the room under my name and address then leave the deposit and then we would just pay it off and go. Just trying to get above the curve on this. Thanks for all of everybodys help.
