Gosh no, don't cancel Narcoosee's! The food and the ambient were unbelievable. Hopefully our experience of Narcoosee's was a RARE mishap.
My son cannot stop talking about his all-teens' lunch @ 50's Primetime. I wasn't there but I could tell that it was his favorite.

Ok, I made one at Tutto Italia just in case which I will cancel. As you have seen, I am constantly on the phone with disney dining.

Waiting for the Dec. Disney visa discount to come out this week. Hopefully something good to save us some money.

Good News, the new fall rates came out today and after several phone calls to Disney and TA finally got a discount. Nothing fantastic but $239 on our room. Plus discount for mom and MIL/FIL rooms.

I called my AAA TA at 8:30am and left message with code rate and asked her to apply to all 3 rooms. Then called her back at 10:30am when I didn't hear back and she was on hold with Disney since 9am. I was on hold with Disney too (never hurts to be sure, right??). She tells me she will call when she hears back. I finally get through about 2 minutes later and CM says nothing at POP but for $150 we can upgrade to POR (Don't have a heart attack Nemo fridge swap people! ) DH says check with others first, my mom says yes and I can't get in touch with ILs. So TA calls with same info, I take a chance and say change us, she comes back and says ok now its $150/room not total. Ok, then change us back to POP. Well guess what, no preferred rooms left only standard. Not too happy but it is $100 cheaper.

Then I see on Dis that rooms at POP have opened up. So I call Disney again and they do have rooms and put one on hold for me and call TA to convert it. Well, she can get rate now too so we are good but still in standard. So I asked her to put 50's building near bowling pin pool as request. Let's hope it works.

I am looking forward to reading your reviews before we go, we are trying some of the same, I think I am the most excited about the dining, lol. I was hoping that we could do the deluxe but with a total of 8 of us now, it is just to much of a price difference!

I agree, I am most excited about the dining and especially not having to cook for 8 days.

I promise I will do a dining report when we get back. I already warned my DH that I will be taking food porn pictures. We just got a Canon Rebel XSI digital camera about a week about and 8MB of space for photos.

It has been a busy weekend for us. But it's all good news..TG.

Janet, I just might because we are eating @ Coral Reef that evening where you will be at Teppan Edo earlier. We love to hang out and shop at the department store of the Japanese Pavilion.

My kids are so excited to go shopping there. Shark spent so much time looking at the Yu-gi-oh cards last time, we practically had to drag him out of there. Bear loves Hello Kitty and just stood there speechless for a minute or two. She got the one in a kimono, it is so pretty.

We ate at Teppan Edo on our honeymoon in 1992 and haven't been back since and are looking forward to eating there again and see the renovations. We have a restaurant here that is similar so the kids know what to expect. I was able to get the Candlelight processional package for that night so we will be in Epcot most of the day.

Their site is weird, sometimes they have 5-8 colors and sometimes only 2. I ordered the pink & purple ones last Octish and the ones with santa mickey/minnie in Nov. They only have the holiday ones for a short amount of time. I also noticed that now they are charging $6.50/shirt to personalize, wait until they have a special and it is free. No one has seen the shirts yet, they are a surprise. Last time we all had matching Hawaiian shirts and people would actually ask "Are you guys together?" No, we just shop and eat at the same places.

Here is a picture from our dinner at WCC. My MIL/FIL have the same shirts so we might bring them again this time.

(FYI, I am the one of the far left. Got to love the styling of men's shirt, not. Thankfully, I have lost 25lb since then. )

Thanks, they are actually Hawaiian Mickey & Minnie shirts. I got them 3-4 years ago on the disney site. They had another style last year but I haven't seen it on their site lately. Check on ebay, I have seen some there. Here is a better picture of the shirts plus one of my favorites. Bear fell asleep in DH's lap while we waited for the boat from MK to WL.

Actually no. Our dinner's at 7:55pm and it is too late for any diver to go into the water. I am still thinking about the personalized menu. We did the grand gathering menu at Coral Reef last month already. I think one is enough..

Where did you get info on the Grand Gathering events? Now that we added my Nieces that put us up to 8 and we had to finish booking through GG.

Also try calling disney shopping and ask if they have them, they might not be listing on the site this time of year but have them available.
