Waiting on ROFR Support Group

I have always thought of myself as a patient person, ROFR has showed me I was mistaken. The anxiety is overwhelming not to mention the fact I’m constantly still searching resale listings and thinking, should I just buy a bigger contract if this one doesn’t pass? Or, wow this one looks good I wish I could buy it if I don’t pass ROFR, but I’m sure it will be gone by then. I read threads on here and I haven’t even been waiting as long as some of you, only about a week but the waiting is excruciating.

I think your offer is a safe one. From what I have seen it looks like they have taken back SSR contracts mostly below $93 or so. But no one ever knows what the mouse is going to do. One resale sight lists average price they sold SSR for April was $93 a point. Good luck. I know waiting is not fun. Check out the first page of the ROFR thread. It lists ones that passed, waiting and taken.

What company are you working with? We're waiting for ROFR through DVC Resale Market and I just found out today that they post the passes on their Facebook page. I checked it out and there's our name for the list of passes yesterday! The only problem is that nobody who is in the office today can confirm that it's us (our last name is not uncommon) and I don't have an email yet, so I'm still hanging out there not sure if we made it or not. IF we did in fact pass, that would be 15 days.

If I had known to check the DVC Resale Market FB page, I definitely would have been all over that earlier!

We are using DVCSales they are super good about keeping me informed and checking in with me every few days.

CONGRATULATIONS on your contract passing. I can only imagine how exciting that is. Hopefully we will hear something this week. Which Resort did you buy?

I felt the same way. We have a friend buying his second contract. First offer was taken by Disney, he is now on day 7 of his second offer and I have anxiety even though it isn't mine!

Yes, creating a Disney account, transferring points, taking a nap, and going on vacation all have to happen by DVC staff. It's a slowwwww process. Well at least for my account... ughhh

We did pass....but now estoppel is actually taking longer than ROFR did.

Still waiting for try #3....Day 26 and the only thing I am hanging on to is I have seen some passing after the 30 day mark.
