Waiting list for Grand Floridian

So we have a two bedroom preferred view booked at Riveria. I also went on the wait list for a two bedroom at Grand Floridian at the 7-month window because we have never stayed there. Every wait list we have ever booked came through, but I am getting anxious this one will not. Our trip is in February.

Don’t get me wrong, we love Riveria as it has grown on us. Just hoping for something different this time.

What do you think our chances are of getting the wait list? Should I just put it out of mind? Trying to decide on tickets as well, either Epcot or magic kingdom depending on which resort we get.

Depends when in February and number of nights. But I think it’s going to be a difficult one.

With all the new points that were added with the resort studios, there is more competition for those with resort owners, leaving less for those trading in.

it is for 4 nights. Its not the end of world, just was hoping to stay somewhere new.
