Waiting in a queue via chat for DAS application?

How can I still if I am still in the "line" via chat? It keeps saying connection lost, connection established but nothing else. I can't tell if I am really in line or not? What about the fact that my screen saver keeps popping on? Does that mean each time that happens my connection is severed?
