Waiting for dates!

Day 6 was our last full day and we decided to do Hollywood Studios with the thought that we would get back to Magic Kingdom for a few hours-but that didn't happen. We went to Hollywood studios and and Michael found his favorite ride-the Rockin Roller Coaster. We learned that he is a bit of a thrill seaker!

We loved the midway games ride at Hollywood Studios. The boys were sad that the Star Wars ride was not working.
The last time we were in Orlando we went to Medival Times and the boys loved it. We debated getting tickets, but decided to get them and keep it a secret from the boys. If you want tickets to this just tell the front desk at GKTW at least 2 days ahead and you can get discounted tickets. Medival Times is right by GKTW. We were trying to figure out how to surprise them. Eric decided to tell them that the car was breaking down, right by the Medival Times. We told the boys to get out and we would go in and see if someone could help us. They totally fell for it. We walked in and they were telling everyone that our car was broken. We kept laughing at them, because even as we were all the way in the castle, they were still believing it. We finally told them that we were really going to see the show. They were ecstatic. They cheered loudly for their knight, but unfortunately he didn't win. I had paid the extra money to be put in the front row and it was worth it. Since the boys had been to the show before they knew that the green knight was the "bad" knight and so they booed him all night long. He came up to them and talked to them during the show. They thought that was really fun.

We tried to make it home in time for the birthday party at GKTW, but we missed it. WE did get there in time for an icee and popcorn.

Our last day was here and we didn't want to leave. We had so much fun and will always remember it. We spent some time around the village and then got packed up and left. We decided to hit Universal for a few hours before heading to the airport. Tip-the front desk at GKTW has directions from all the parks to the airport for people-ask for them. We rode a few rides at Universal and then ate at Margaritaville for lunch before heading to the airport.

We had a wonderful time on our trip. Give Kids the World Village is amazing! We loved every day there. There is so much to do. The only part we didn't like was that the walls between our villa and the next door neighbors was paper thin. We could hear them yelling at their kids all night long. Other than that our stay was the best. We had a great time at all the parks. Magic Kingdom is still our favorite. Universal Studios and Sea World's rides were more aimed at older kids. We also thought that those two parks had too many "county fair games" The kids were always wanting to play the games and they nickel and dime you for them. We tried our best to avoid them. Disney parks are just so much nicer. They just really know how to do it right. Everyone treated us like royalty. We are so greatful to Make A Wish for all the work they went to to plan our trip. Thank you also to all of you diboarders who sent Michael all the wonderful gifts. We loved wearing all of our shirts. We had more than we had days on our trip! Michael continues to wear them all the time-I think it reminds him of his special week. I've added some of our photo pass pictures to the end of this.

Thank you for the trip report. I'm glad you had a great trip, and the prictures of your family are just wonderful.

We've been debating taking a day to head to Universal for our trip (we leave Sunday) and I think your trip report has convinced me to hold off until our kids are older (we have a nearly 4 yr old who keeps begging to go, but I don't think he'll be able to do enough to justify the rental car for the day, tickets, etc, and DD is still a baby, so not worth it at all for her).

I can't wait until we head to the airport Sunday...
