Waiting for August Hours - All hours are up!!

I have to call on Sunday for ADRs...it would be really nice if the park hours were out before that so I don't have to change things. I have my schedule laid out based on July 09 and Aug 08 hours, but if something changes, it'll make me redo a lot.

23 hours now!!

Don't want to burst your bubble, but in checking the "Waiting for July Hours" thread, the first reports of hours being posted did not roll in until 5:13pm on April 1st.

You may be waiting most of the day tomorrow to begin finding out August hours.

Party pooper! :lmao:

How dare those web people over at Disney make us wait through the entire day? Don't they know that some of us need those hours released at 8am so we have an excuse to procrastinate at work?!

Seriously, how rude! :rolleyes1

Waiting here, too!! :yay: I've already changed our itinerary about a dozen times...I don't know why I even bother before they post the hours but I'm looking forward to changing it again, LOL!

I don't get to call for our ADRs until 5/19 which just happens to be my DD's sweet 16 birthday...sorry kid, no birthday breakfast this year, WDW phone lines are open! :rotfl:

I did not even realize that the hours were going to be posted tomorrow!! Whooo life has been getting in the way of Disney planning!!! Can't wait to see the hours!!!

May 19th is also my birthday, but I'm way past 16!! May 19th also happened to be the 90 day for booking shore excursions and Palo reservations for our DCL cruise last year. I remember spending the waking hours of my birthday trying relentlessly to get logged into the DCL website (reservations opened up right at midnight EST). We did book Palo, but not for the night we wanted (I was hoping for a birthday dinner for my DW). We also got all of the shore excursions we wanted, so here's to you getting all of your ADRs booked successfully on your DD's birthday.

We make our ADR's for our August trip a few days before you. We're also looking forward to those August hours to begin planning our trip and ADRs.

I'm glad that I have a full day today to keep my mind off of things for a while. But that doesn't stop me from checking in here every now and then to see how everyone's doing!!

It was later in the day last month - but they have also come out the day before. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I keep hoping they post the hours sooner, maybe they won't want to wait until 5pm on a Friday, HA! Seriously, I've changed my tentative schedule about a hundred times already and while I know that I can't plan anything until the hours come out, that doesn't stop me.

I'm still debating with myself whether or not to utilize the EMH and getting hoppers or not. I don't want the added expense if we're not going to use the hopper that much. We've never been in August and I'm worried about crowds and the heat.

We always get hoppers in August. If Disney holds true to form ( and who knows in this economy) the parks are open15-16 hours. any where from 10:00 pm to midnight closing time.

That is enough time for us to go to a park or a water park during the day come back to the resort around noon or 1 and keep cool during the heat of the day. Then we head to another park with plenty of time to tour in the cooler evening hours.

I'm really still debating the EMH's and the hoppers as well, although I've pretty much convinced myself the hoppers are too much money and we'd use them maybe once or twice. I'd rather add the water park options, but with such a short trip (6 days), while I know we'd use them, I just don't think we'd have the time and would stress ourselves out trying to get over there since we're not renting a car.

I know I'm doing the first EMH morning at MK if there is one. I know we'll do EMH on our last morning so we have more time before flying out. What I"m hoping is to have the second EMH morning switchable with another morning in case we go to the first one and it's chaos. Maybe have our WCC or 'Ohana ADR's that day so they could switch?

Trying to look at your calendar, it looks like you won't be there until late August, so I'm hoping the crowds won't be that bad. Our last trip was the last week of July and first week of August, so it can't be that crowded! And we didn't find the weather to be that bad, and we're from Green Bay! I'm just hoping we avoid hurricanes, which of course can happen any time in there so it's not like you can schedule to avoid!

the Disney people are laughing at us poor pitiful people waiting for a schedule to their theme park, lol

I'm waiting...and not so patiently, I might add! At least it's gone by pretty fast. I remember when I thought May would NEVER get here. I only plan on making one ADR (for Whispering Canyon) so I'm not too worried. Although, I've never been during free dining so maybe I should be worried?

YAY!! I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!

With your number of posts you probably already know this and I am just misunderstanding. You say you are only making one ADR? Are you only staying one night? You get one Table Service credit per night. I have travelled during Free Dining before and the ADRs are hard to get. With the new system now hopefully eliminating double bookings, there may be better availability.

Sorry if I misunderstood your post, but I just wanted to make sure you wouldn't miss out on your credits. :thumbsup2

Im excitied for the hours. If they aren't out by noon tomorrow then i guess i have to wait until im done with work to see if they are posted yet. Unfortnately i am working a full day Saturday so i don't get to hang out and figured out our plans.
