We are looking forward to the Sing-a-long show as well.

I am jealous of all your sporting events you get to go to. I grew up going to A's and Giants games and I miss that. Now, everything is just too far away. I haven't been to a game in 23 years. It sounds like you are having a wonderful summer.

Oh, you are going to do a outfit show? I cannot wait!

I am surprised you didn't find the cow fabric as soon as you got home from the fabric store. It is probably hiding until you finish the project. Maybe it moved to greener pastures. Did you look in your green fabric?

I am surprised you didn't find the cow fabric as soon as you got home from the fabric store. It is probably hiding until you finish the project. Maybe it moved to greener pastures. Did you look in your green fabric?

You have been busy! I haven't been to a baseball game this year at all…for shame! Dan has been working so many hours, we haven't done anything much. And won't until projects all launch in November! I'm glad you're enjoying your teams.

I love that Charlie is enthusiastic about the sing along. I doubt you'd clear the room or anything. Our sil is tone deaf, so standing next to him is fun at church. When we used to play Cranium we would laugh when he had to whistle something. It all came out the same note, but he was sure he was nailing the tune!

How are the costumes coming? I don't know where the summer has gone, but I cannot believe it's mid August already! Our trips are right around the corner. I'm glad you're getting a cake for your birthday. Must have cake on your birthday!! And which day are you at Biergarten????

Just a shirt update since I'm in my phone. All the pieces are done for the costumes, just need to finish some hand sewing - buttons and snaps. I found my camera, it was in my sewing room

I don't have anything major left to do. Except maybe something for 1900 Park Fare, but I'm stumped on what to do?

I made a maxi dress, and it fits, but is just a scootsch too tight, so unless I lose 5 lbs between now and next week, it's not going in the suitcase.

You obviously have never heard either one of us sing. My 9th grade chorus teacher asked me to just mouth the words and my own daughter asked me not to sing in church. I was part of the Joyful Noise choir when we had one. You know the Bible just says to make a joyful noise, it doesn't say it has to be good.....

Nothing constructive done tonight because I had a dinner meeting to attend for work. I did manage to get to ACMoore to buy a button for my Facebook group, and to JoAnn's to buy some red cording for my Jessie blouse. I also had to stop at Target to get some baby gift cards. We are having a luncheon/baby shower on Wednesday at work. We have 2 pregnant ladies, both due in September, one boy and one girl.

Tomorrow, after I go to the gym, I get to sew buttons and snaps, and cording and then I can take pictures of the costumes. They are not exact replicas of the costumes, mainly because the exact fabric for Woody's shirt is not available and I made both shirts short sleeved - after all it is September in Florida!

I'm so excited!

Still doing hand sewing so no pictures yet. I forgot that I had to make cakes for our luncheon/ baby showers for today. CakeS you say? Yes two of them- one pink and one blue - we have two pregnant ladies in our office and both are due in September .

So, I will finish up the sewing tonight.

Okay, I know you've all been waiting on pins and needles for me to finally post some pictures that I've promised for a while now.

So, first of all, I left you all wondering if we managed to finish up the row by row quilt....

here it is! We did finish the rows, put the top together - let me tell you when you have 10 different opinions on how something that does not coordinate at all should go together, it gets very interesting. I think we ended up with an acceptable compromise.



I made the very bottom row and the four corner pieces.

So that brings us to Disney stuff. We leave in 6 days, but first, Charlie has to go out of town this week. I have a to-do list a mile long and I have stuff to do every evening this week. I am mostly packed, but I will need the suitcase that Charlie is taking on his trip.....

Oh WOW!!! Great job on everything!!! That quilt is amazing. I don't know how you all got everything to seem to go together. And it looks like such a fun group of ladies, too!

The outfits for the "dark side" look great! And that bag is fantastic! I'm sure lots of people will ask where you got that.

And your costumes…they are awesome. Just awesome!! You two are going to totally rock that party! How fun!

It's too bad Charlie is gone just before your trip when you could maybe use his help. Or maybe it's best he's out from under foot? At any rate, I hope you get to everything on your to do list.

Oh, and the Belle dress…I've run out of superlatives. Love it!!! You have such talent!

I just sat here. Staring.. then it hit me..

I am stunned into silence! but it only took a moment then i got up off my chair did a jig:

Which wasn't very quiet since i had about 6 people come into my office to see if i was ok. I'm crying laughing and screaming all at the same time! I might even start another earthquake over all the jumping and yelling!

I thank you my dear sweet friend from the bottom of my heart to the top of my head for everything you are doing for us. I wish you were here right now so i can just SQUISH you.. I am at a loss for words but hope you can feel my gratitude all the way over by you.. because i am BEAMING right now!!!!!
