Wait. Wait wait wait. Is there a difference between EMM, EMH, and DAH?

So if you’re already IN the park for the day and they have EMH that evening in that park how do they know if you’re staying at a resort?

I know for the paid parties like Mickey’s Xmas party etc they kick everyone out of the park that’s not wearing the party band, but what do they do on EMH evenings?
Guests can still stay in the parks...but they can’t ride anything. CMs scan magic bands at the entrance of every ride and if you are not staying at a resort you can’t enter the queue...

Another question: Can you enter the turnstiles into the park for EMH after regular park hours if you have a Park Hopper but are not staying at a resort?

For example, let’s say we spend the day at DHS and by the time it closes and we get to EP it’s past 9pm. Can we still get in with our park hoppers? Or must be be staying at a resort?

Also, just out of curiosity, what is a Resort ID? It says if you don’t have a Magic Band you need a Resort ID to get on rides.

Yes, EMH is still available, but they have WAY less dates than they used to.

They have less MK dates than they used to. I think they have just as many, but there are four parks to split them up now.

Thanks!

I'm not sure, but I don't think they'd let you in if you weren't a resort guest.

A resort ID is a plastic credit-card looking room key thing for people who don't like Magic Bands.

Not really - I remember trips where there was pretty much an evening EMH every single day. (Split up between the four parks.) So on any given trip, there'd be at least two PM EMH's at Epcot to choose from, two from MK to choose from, etc, etc. On my upcoming trip later this month (eight day trip) there are only three total evening EMH's the entire trip. There are no evening EMH's Jan. 17-20 (the second half of our trip.) It's DEFINITELY a huge reduction in EMH's.
