wait times on MDE, and crowded park posts

So, since I'm stuck in bed still trying to get over this flu nonsense, I have been watching the wait times at the parks and making changes to FP. So the past 2 days the waits for rides at MK on monday and AK on tuesday didnt look bad. I think for the most part the longest wait for anything was 50mins for PeterPan, which is not out of the norm. Longest wait i saw at AK was kilimanjaro safari for 70mins but every other ride was 20mins or less. This to me does not seem crowded at all, but then i read the other post about the park being crazy crowded. Are the wait times wrong on the MDE? Or is my perception of how long you should wait in line wrong?
