We went on the Nemo Subs when they first opened. Did EMH and RAN. We ended up in the third sub of the day.

It is pretty slow loading so what are the wait times like now for late afternoons? We will be there Mon. - Thurs. early Nov. so slower season.

Definitely not as crowded as they used to be. The wait right now is about 30 minutes. I'd say that's about average.

we were there in aug. 20 min wait. first day we wanted to go on but they were having problems so they handed out fp for any ride in the park. said the ac was broken & was too hot to ride in there. so went back following day.

We go in March April and the wait times have been anywhere from 30 mins to over an hour... depends on the day and time... I feel the later the day the longer the line...

This summer we went on it first thing in the morning and had a 20 min wait. It also helped that "everyone" was over in Carsland.

We rode this last weekend and waited about 15 minutes late morning. It wasn't bad at all.

Thanks - we will be doing other attractions in the am. That's why I was wonder the wait time for it later on in the afternoon.

If anyone in your party is disabled, claustrophobic or can't do stairs, they do have an "alternate experience" that doesn't involve actually getting into a sub. You go into an air-conditioned room that looks sort of like the inside of a submarine and there is a "window" (big TV) that plays a high-resolution video of the voyage.

Did it with my DD in August, and was pretty impressed. I don't think many people who would qualify know about it.

Wait times dip just before the afternoon parade, so that's a good time to head over there.

Susan, we might have to do that when we go with our kids. DH and I rode the subs a few years ago and I was having a slight claustrophobia/motion sickness experience... but my kids would enjoy it. I guess I'll either send them with their dad, (while I ride Buzz again!) or ask about that room...

We didn't ride the subs last time we went.

I've heard varying opinions on their greatness, lol.

HOW small of a space is it in there? That might freak me out, I don't know. I'm not a weenie normally, but the "trapped" feeling might be scary!

That's a great bit of info, thanks for sharing!
