Hi
We are going on Tuesdaystaying off-property and purchased the Express Pass Plus.

I did not realize until it got here that it was not for Shrek.(It is printed on top of pass that Shrek is excluded) Shrek is a big deal to my DD5 and I am curious has anyone been lately with no express passes for Shrek how long the wait is for? At what times of the day did you try?

Thanks!!

Also, what characters did you see?

We went last week, right after opening there was no wait, I would recommend doing it first thing.

We arrived at Universal Studios one afternoon and one of the entrance lines was very long while the others were relatively short. I asked a CM why everyone was trying to enter the park through the same turnstile and they responded that they were not trying to get into the park, it was the end of the standby line for Shrek:teeth: . JUST KIDDING!!!!:hyper: The line does get long for Shrek quickly though. I agree with mattmax. Get there at opening and go to Shrek first thing.::yes::

Not to sound redundant, but get there early.

If you're at the turnstiles as soon as they open the gates (usually 8:45-ish), you'll be one of the first ones in. At Shrek, the doors are usually open awaiting the days first guests. If you do this, you'll be in the first showing of the day which means no wait.

Otherwise, I've seen waittimtes of 45-75 minutes the past couple weeks.

When we were there over Memorial Day Weekend the wait was 120 minutes at around noon. It took us close to 30 minutes even with FOTL/Express.

During the Revenge of the Mummy Passholder event there were 0-10min waits for Shrek and Jimmy.

Saturday at 3 pm there was a 45 minute wait and by 4 pm it was 30 minutes.

My express plus pass doesn't say that it is not valid at Shrek 2, only that it is not valid at Return of the Mummy, Pterandon flyers, Nickelodeon and Woody Woodpeckers Coaster. Should I then assume that it is also not good for Shrek?

Replace "not valid at Mummy" for "not valid at Shrek.":smooth: :jester:

Today at around 2:30 PM, the wait time was 60 minutes. That is the busiest time of the day on Sundays. Early mornings or a few minutes right before the park closes are the shortest wait times on Shrek.

If that's the first ride that you go on at the park opening, you shouldn't have any trouble with a wait.

I think that I will go with the majority here and go as soon as we get in the gates. Then I will go back and exchange our temp tix for our passes. Then hit Jimmy Neutron and then MIB. (not even trying mummy because of DD5). That seems to be my plan and lets see if I can stick to it.:D

Leaving tomorrow!!! yea!!! Any final tips at all?
