Wait time for Frozen characters?

This past Friday 12/6, I got in line to meet them at about 9:55. There were about 6 families/groups in front of me. The line was cut for the 11:00 set before 10:30. And the line gradually started building up quicker as it approached 11:00.

When I was leaving after meeting them, I was walking towards the Canada side of World Showcase when I passed a mother telling her kid how they were going to go find Anna and Elsa. She then said, "But if there's a wait, we'll have to wait until after lunch." Some people have absolutely no idea, and expect to just walk up and meet a brand new character in no time.

Wow I am feeling better now about our ninety minute wait last Thursday at DL.

We went last week thinking we'd maybe wait in line 30-60 minutes. They told us the line was closed for the current set and was starting for the next set, well over an hour away. The CM mentioned that people had started lining up right at 9 for the 11 am set.

We skipped it.

We were there last Wednesday and waited nearly an hour and a half. We were one of the first to be in line for the 1:00 (I think) start time, we hopped into line right after our Akershus breakfast.

I stopped by Norway tonight and chatted with the CM at the Frozen M&G line. The last meet and greet was scheduled for 7:55 and she said guests began lining up at 6:00.

:thumbsup2

The only difference I can think of is since this time there are two of them, waits may be even worse since it would draw fans of either.

:thumbsup2 THIS

In addition to being new - having two characters means the average interaction takes longer as well. The same happened when both Flynn and Rapunzel were meeting together.

While we were in line for that 90 minute wait at DLR last week the rumor went around out might just be one of the characters by the time we go.t there. Thankfully we got to see both. But when we walked by a few days later we heard the attendant telling people they would only be meeting Anna.

Just curious if that happens at the Epcot meeting?

I have only heard of them meeting together so far. Of course, "entertainment is subject to change" blah blah blah and it's possible that one of them appeared alone at some point. But as far as that being an intended and scheduled situation, I don't think so--at least not yet.

That's good. I could see that causing near riot conditions.;)
