Does anyone know approx. what are the wait times for buses to the MK from the BWV. I am just wondering about going to the MK in seperate trips. My husband takes my 3 1/2 yr old son while I wait for the next bus with my 10 month old DD. I think we will have much too much stuff for one trip. Also, I think we are the last stop before they go off to the MK, so there won't be a whole lot of room. Anyone thinking about this? :(

We just returned from BWV 1.5 weeks ago, and the buses came rather quickly we thought. They also were never full (even first thing in the AM), so I think you will be fine riding together. They say the buses come every 20 minutes, so you would be about that far behind him if you split up.

We are always so impressed how well Disney Transportation works! They are moving ALOT of people, and IMO doing a marvelous job.

I think a lot depends upon when you are going. We just got back yesterday (and are still having withdrawls) and rode the busses several times, from BWV to Magic Kingdom, from MGM to Old Key West, from Downtown Disney to BWV and there was never more than a handful of people on them. We have riddent he busses before in August and there was hardly even enough room to stand.

My advise is not to split up. Even if the bus is full I can't imagine some healthy youngster not giving up his/her seat for you and the baby to sit.

Biddler....I just noticed our countdowns are very similar - and we're both from Mass. You aren't by any chance flying Delta out of Logan on the 27th are you? We could be on the same flight - going to the same resort. :D

As for the BWV bus situation, we haven't rented a car yet and have not had any problems with the WDW transportation. More often than not it seemed a bus was either pulling up as we arrived at the busstop, or only a minute or two away. I remember being annoyed that we had to share a bus with the Y/B Clubs and Dolphin/Swan but it's just that - an annoyance.

And one thing I've learned from taking the bus so often - there's *always* room for one more person. ;) Ask any bus driver. Just when you think the bus occupancy is maxed out they ask you to take a deep breath and step further to the back to make a bit more room. ;) Of course I'm exaggerating (about the deep breath part, anyway). If I were you I'd plan on sticking together as a family and if someone has to have a baby carriage in their face for 5 minutes...oh well. :)

We are at WDW about every 4-5 weeks and never have problems with the BWV buses.
