We will be there starting on the 3rd, on average how long can I expect the wait times to be?:hyper:

The earliest I've been in June is from the 14th so ive never gone early June.

We'll be there from May 30 until June 6 and I would really like some info on wait times, too. Last year, we were there during the last week in May and the parks were not very crowded at all. I'm hoping one week later won't make much of a difference.

If you're talking crowds, more than wait times...? Crowds ought to be semi-ok, inasumuch as CA schools and many others aren't out for summer yet, so your weekdays should be ok. Weekend days will probably be just as nuts as weekends usually are.

As far as ride wait times, that just depends on how well you follow the tips you know about from here. (see Hydroguy's tips: Getting the Most out of a Summer Visit to DLR: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1345319, and also Getting the most ouf of FastPass During the High Season: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=885132 ) We were there in March of last year, during a record-breaking spring break week right after Easter, and it was so crowded you could hardly move in Adventureland by 1 p.m. Yet the longest we ever waited for anything was Monsters Inc, about 25 minutes, and that was due to a mis-step on my part-- I mixed it up in my ride order with Muppets, which should have come after that instead of before.

If you get there before opening, collect FPs, follow a reasonable ride order, you should never have to wait more than 10-20 minutes at the most, no matter how busy it is. Good luck! :goodvibes

We were there that week in 2007 and it was very manageable. We always were there 30 mins. before opening and went staight to Fantasyland and did everything w/ in an hour or so. The longest wait there was Storybook Canal and I think it was b/c they were training new drivers or something b/c empty boats kept floating by...

Splash Mtn. had a long wait, even to GET a FastPass so I'd suggest getting your FP for that ride very 1st thing and then stocking up as the day goes on.

We had a wonderful time in June, perfect weather, easy crowds. You'll have a great time!

I will be there on Tuesday June 2nd. for my DD's 11th B-day. We are doing just a girls day. I am really excited to spend the day with just the two of us!! I am hoping for low crowds, but every time I have gone in June it was crowded...but then I am used to going in the off season and walking onto most rides. We will definitely be using FP's!

I'm glad to hear this too, as we will be there June 1-8. I was worried about it being the begining of summer season

We will be there the 1st thru the 5th... Have a great time and hope to see all of you there!

I was there last year at that time. In my experience, one park was overrun with school kids there for end of the year field trips. When you notice one park loaded with tons of kids wearing matching t-shirts, just head to the other one and you should be fine.

We went the same time last year - there were not alot of crowds and the weather was very nice. However, there were alot of field trips (mentioned in an earlier post) that week. The kids did wear matching t shirts so we generally stayed away from the Land they were in and they didn't bother us at all.

We are going back again the same week this year, June 1-7, you will have a Grad Night on Thursday 6/4 so DL will close early that night. Otherwise, crowds should be low but I would still gather FP during the day to use at night as nights tended to be more crowded after the locals arrived.

I think that with the CA. schools budget cuts the number of field trips to Disneyland may be down this year. Just a thought...and I hope I am right!
