Wait listing December!

My 7 month window just opened! I have a week booked at my home resort already, so i'm pretty settled. I have waitlisted the same week at CC and BLT though just now, both studios. What do you reckon the chances of getting one of them are? I'm assuming with early December being such a busy time for DVC guests, chances are slim!

A full week waitlist at that time will be tough. I'd be sure to keep stalking and try to piece it together.

I agree with @JETSDAD. Especially when it comes to a full week, in a studio at CCV during the holiday period. Full weeks anywhere are difficult to fill but even CCV owners have a tough time booking a studio at 11 months before December.

If you have enough points, have you considered trying to book or clear 1 day at a time. This worked for me few years back but not sure the same strategy will work this year with all the backlog.

Going to be pretty tough as both those resorts are really popular during December.

I would put odds of a full week waitlist at basically zero, especially for CCV, which sold out studios nearly opening day at 11 months and has the weird split for studio categories.

I just cancelled a full week at BLT in a studio last week. Our trip was for first week of December. Our son and girlfriend asked if they could join us on our next Disney trip so I moved our trip to February since I figured it would be difficult to pick up another studio or a 2 bedroom unit in December, so it can happen. We made someone very happy.

We have two waitlists for December as well. We have SSR, our home resort booked. We know we pretty much have 0% chance of getting one, but hey, why not try?
