Wait list tips

We reserved a 1 bdr at BCV for new years week at the 11 month window. About 2 months ago we decided we wanted more room so we got on a wait list for a 2 bdr at OKW.

Last week we still hadnt heard back so I called to put us on the waitlist for a 2 bedroom at any resort. The women told me that our original waitlist was only set up for a 2 bdr lockoff at OKW and that she recommended putting in for every type of 2 bdr at every resort to get the best possible chance. She said it would take a bit longer as she had to do every possibilty one at a time.

Has any one heard that they need to do it this way?

BTW, 2 days later we got a two bdr dedicated at OKW.

It happened to us when we were waitlisted at every resort. The CM told me she would have to do each resort one by one. I wasn't aware that she also had to do each type of room at the resort one at a time as well. No wonder it took so long.

Great tip! This will come in handy for us on our next trip next December, when we will most assuredly be sitting on a wait list for a resort that is not our home resort. Thanks for sharing!
