Wait list for cash ressie??

Hi all,

Going to run the Half marathon on 1-6-2002. When I got confirmation of entry in the race, I booked two nights on points at OKW in a studio. This used all of the points I had left this year and had to borrow 20 from next year. Now after getting more info on the activities, I would like to add one more night using cash. So I called MS today and there was no studios in member inventory (discounted) available for the night I need. Really don't want to pay rack rate of $249.00 and even with the discount it's a stretch. I didn't think to ask MS if you can wait list for a cash ressie.
Is this an option or should I make a resssie offsite as insurance and then call MS every day trying to get the night at OKW.
Or maybe I can finally convince DW that now is the time to get that add-on

I have never heard of a wait list for a cash ressie through MS. Do you have AP's? You could try CRO for a discounted AP rate if so. I would make the off site ressie and call each day hoping to book it through MS. Good luck!
