Wait List came through!

Our waitlist for Sunday night, January 14th, studio at OKW came through! I really didn't think it would, but I have kept an eye on the calendar. We had cash-ressies at PO-FQ for the weekend because we got a decent rate and they had availability but we were preferring to use our DVC points (after all, that's part of the point of pre-paid vacation concept, right?). So I called today just to check and to cancel our DVC ressie if it didn't look like the wait list would come through so my points wouldn't go into holding.

When I finally got a live person on the phone, she was able to tell me that our wait list had made a match and they just hadn't had a chance to call us yet - so she was able to go ahead and accept the waitlist for us and link our reservations together so we'll be set! Woo-hoo!

We also were on a waitlist. Probably about 2 months.
Called yesterday just to ask. A room miraculously appeared while we talked! I would urge anyone to call every now and then to see. You just never know when a room can be had that might not have been yours had you not called to check.
