I am arriving to MCO at 2:40pm from Texas ( Southwest ) and DH is arriving at 3:55 pm ( American ) from Chicago
Can I just wait for him an hour in the airport so we can ride together ME to POP ? or how does it work while in MCO terminal ? Or should I just go to the resort and wait for him there ?:confused3

Yes, of course you can wait for him at the airport! Neither of you is scheduled for a specific bus, just a ride that day.

If ME is taking your luggage, then you will have time to look at the shops. Set up a meeting place in advance or ask him to call you when he lands. It will be much nicer for you to ride ME together.

Absolutely, wait for him; it is a wonderful ride! Nothing like getting into the Disney mood together, and getting on the ME bus and watching the presentation puts you over the top!

You can wait in the airport. I'd go directly to POP. There might be a line to check in. You should be able to check in before you DH arrives. I'd rather hang out at POP then MCO.

I agree with this. Get checked in and then go the shops or walk around the resort, but wait for him there. I can say this with confidence because this happened to us a couple years ago and my DW really enjoyed being at the resort waiting as opposed to the airport. And I was glad she did.

Good luck!!!

If you do plan to wait at least check his flight status to make sure you won't be waiting for longer than an hour.

I'd thought I'd read that everyone had to be present at check in - am I incorrect?

Nope I have checked in many times before my husband, while others are in the car; and my daughter now lives there and often goes over early and gets us all checked in so we are ready to have fun when we get there. Some will say you have to have everyone there for check in IF you have free dining but I have never found that to be the case. Should they ask for everyone explain the circumstances and they will either go ahead and check in everyone or just get you checked in and await the others for the key cards. However I have never found that to be the case. Seriously they don't typically want everyone in line (what a mess).
