Hi everyone,

I have just booked 7 nights at the All Star resort. Apparently it isn't the best place to stay but are just happy to be staying on site. We will be there from Oct 27 - Nov 3 and can't wait.

Anything I should ask for when we get our room assignment???

Oh I am sooooo excited to spend 7 nights and 8 days in the magic it will be hard to go home.

Why would you say that?
We have stayed at All Star Movies and All Star Music. And had a fantastic time!!!
Did you get the Fairy Tale Package?? Which All Star did you get?

Are you planning on going to the MNSSHP? If you are...you should get tickets ASAP.

The pools are great there. The food courts are good too.
Actually my DD prefers the pools and food courts at All Stars compared to any of the moderate one.
The buses seem to run more frequently than other resorts. Only down side is if you are at Movies...you would be last on & last off.
But, who cares.

Like I said.......you will have an awesome time!!!!!!!!!!!

Which All-Star are you in? They should have told you. Start planning days now. Make all PS as soon as possible. Ages of your group? The more you plan the more fun you will have. If you are planning on doing alot and not being at the hotel but for sleep then All-Star is just fine.

In some ways I liked the All Stars better than the luxury hotels. They have a wonderful food court which is something I really missed during my last trip (BC, CSR and AKL)

If you want a quieter area, ask to be on the side away from the pool. The pools stay open until midnight and can get quite noisey.

The only somewhat long bus ride is to the MK. EPCOT and MGM are close as is the AK. Blizzard Beach is right down the street!

I've only stayed at the ASMusic. I really liked it and hope to stay there again.

I have stayed at the ASsports 2 times. I loved it, the kids loved it.
The theme at all 3 is great. If you have little ones they will flip out over the giant Buzz and Woody (ASmovies) or the huge footballs at ASsports. We outgrew the rooms 2 kids ago but we never had any problems staying there.
Dont worry, you'll love it!

I actually didn't mean that as bad as it sounded

Just that is was a value hotel as opposed to one of the luxury hotels but I am just thrilled to be staying on site this time.

Thanks you all assured me it will be great..

BTW we requested All Star Sports just cause we all love sports. Not sure which building but I have read that the surf one is the nosiest.
