Wahoo! Merit bonus from work!

At work we recently had something happen that required lots of hard work, extra hours, patience etc. aka an emergency. We just wrapped it up after a month of work.

Today boss lady calls me in her office....and gave me a cash bonus for my hard work in the emergency! Granted taxes will kill almost half of it, but we will get most of it back soon enough with our tax return

We will have a nice date night out and then make a nice dent in some CC debt...all helping us get closer to home ownership!

This was a TOTAL surprise for me. I was just wanting the work to be recognized come review time next summer! It reminds me that I work for a good company, and hubbs and I are psyched to get some extra money!
