Wahhh! I need Elsa dress!!

Reading this thread just cost me money. I ordered the Elsa dress for my granddaughters birthday, of course I will not wait for her birthday to give it to her and that means I will be buying another gift. By the way my daughter, the mother of this granddaughter is named Elsa

Has anyone else had problems with the top of the disneystore dress? My dd received her's yesterday and it had a small snag on the back after just trying it on; not playing. It may have come with it. Do the snags spread to holes? We haven't taken the tag off. If I have to send it back I think she will be so upset since we waited so long for it!

My daughters just came yesterday, she has yet to try it on or even see it though, were waiting for the accessories crown and shoes to arrive before telling her.

Everything elsa is flying off the shelves. I see plenty of Anna things.

It's 'cause the Elsa dress is SPARKLY. And she does that whole Jessica Rabbit thing when she transforms from Boring Elsa into Exciting Elsa (which is the only part of the movie I didn't like - she goes from "coming of age to be crowned" at 18 or 21 or whatever, to sexy sashaying around like her hips had suddenly become disjointed, and people in our theater actually laughed! I'm not sure they were meant to think it funny.).

For those of you who have older girls too tall for the sizes Disney sells, I'm pretty sure you could use this pattern to make a convincing Elsa dress, with some minor modifications.

My mom lives in CA and went to Disneyland and looked everywhere. Zip. The CMs said maybe in March or June.
I got material and am using an online tutorial and following this

This is the Anna coronation dress they have been selling at Norway and BBB. So far, it is the only place I have seen selling the Anna's green dress.

However, there have been numerous reports on other threads that it is currently sold out in the Norway pavilion. I'm not sure about BBB - if anywhere had it - they would (they give supplies to BBB first, and then to stores).

I believe if Norway had it, they would send it to you, but I don't think that's the case for the BBB, since they reserve the costumes for the girls having their makeovers done.

I will be in Disney after the 16th, and I will absolutely report what A&E merchandise I see available.

Bless you for posting this and reporting back. Why does my child always want what is hard to find?! I would absolutely pay to have it shipped but I don't have a clue how to contact the shop in Norway??

I literally just got the green Anna dress in disney store yesterday in Times Square! So glad I happened to spend the weekend in NYC they had only gotten sz 4 and 5/6 in so I grabbed the 5/6 just in case, I am NOT going through the Elsa debacle again lol it won't fit her too long but I really don't care she has no idea about it, I didn't even know this dress was out until I seen it there. I'm going I give it to her on her 5th bday at the end of the month. they were $80 and flying off the shelves. They also have cute flats designed after Anna's boots. I got the actual boots tho bc my dghtr has been wanting them.

Anyways, on my way home from the city today I stopped at the lehigh mall in Allentown,Pa just to check out the disney store (ended up spending more money on things my daughter doesn't need, of course lol) and I was talking to the cashier about the green Anna dress I just got and she said they're expecting them in shortly and they are predicting them to sell out fast like Elsas gown.

I saw this on Ebay. They have others, also. Some are ridiculously expensive (well over $100). This one wasn't so bad. I saw quite a few of them in 4x-6. This was the only one that I saw which was a 7/8. There are probably more.

Thank you! They have that Anna dress back in stock at our disney store here thankfully and I grabbed one last week, but not the green coronation gown for Anna. I'm checking my store later today and will report back as well. Still trying to find the Elsa dress but all reports say March (or $$$ on ebay, which I'm currently resisting!).

Long, long hold with Disney parks. They have no dresses at all in BBB or anywhere in the parks. They said May or maybe August. Even for the BBB. I guess I'm going to have to hope for pixie dust since we go I early May or go to ebay. Bummer! Store in. Times Square does not have anything bigger than 5/6 for Anna and no Elsa.

So.... was going to the Disney Store closest to me in Marlborough, MA - and IT'S CLOSED!!!! I was there just before Christmas, and they didn't say anything about closing and had no signs up. I actually was returning an Anna dress (not the green one) in a size 4, that was a duplicate Christmas gift. If anyone wants it PM me, and I will ship it to you for less than you can get it from disneystore.com

So disappointed!

Anyway, while there, I did check out the disney "mini store" at JC Penny. They didn't have a ton of frozen stuff, but I did find a few things.

Huge stuffed Olaf display

Two pj sets - only size 2, and one size 4

One pair of Elsa shoes, size 9/10, which I bought for DD4 for valentine's day - they were the only pair there

and a few Anna dresses:

all small sizes 2/3 and 4.

They also had 1 Anna accessory kit (mittens, necklace etc..) a Kristoff stuffed doll, and the Anna baby doll.

The costume dress was $36, and it looked like pretty good quality. The disney store dress is better IMO - but if you're looking for something without a $50 price tag, this one definitely beats out anything at Target I have seen.

My jcpenney store had the same things. I would have gotten the original Anna dress there if they would have had her size. She doesn't seem real interested in that dress so I don't really want to pay $50 for it at disney, yet I still want her to have it lol

We were just at the parks in early March and you could not find Frozen dresses anywhere. Norway was sold out, the Disney Store was sold out, BBB was sold out. However, we found them at MouseGears in Epcot! According to a Cast Member my mom spoke to, people don't check Mousegears because they don't think the dresses would be there. My little girl and I had just tried to meet Anna and Elsa in Norway and given up because the wait was three hours. (We'd arrived in the extra magic hours and run right there, mind you, but it was ALREADY a massive wait.) We were walking sadly back to meet up with the rest of our family when we popped in Mousegears just to cheer ourselves up and voila! The dresses were right in front! My daughter picked the green Anna coronation dress and the disappointment of not meeting the characters disappeared as she swirled and twirled around the store. So, I'd say check there for dresses if none are to be found elsewhere.
