We'll be at WDW next week and were thinking about doing a wagon ride at FW. Are there christmas decorations up this early? Do campers even bother decorating before Thanksgiving?

There is definitely decorations up. Down come Halloween and up go Christmas. Enjoy!

Whatta great time to be at WDW !!
Yes and yes, :cool1:
Ya'll hava magical time !!

I'll be there in 5 days and though I won't be bringing my normal two giant size tubs of decorations, I will be bringing at least two Mickey blow ups and few other holiday Disney things since we are coming so early this year.

If you do the wagon ride week next week when you're there, please report back. I am trying to find out the route the wagon ride takes vs. the sleigh ride and if you see many Christmas decorations.

Also, do they decorate the wagon for Christmas the way they do the carriage for Christmas - bows, garland, Christmas music??

Thanks! Have fun!

From what I can remember from a couple of years ago the Carriage ride loops through my favorite loop - #800. That's what I request when I stay there and I hope that the loopers do us proud this year. Sometimes almsot everyone decorates their site and sometimes it's only a handful of folks.

I don't usually go this early, but I have been advised to bring my Mickey holiday decorations so my site won't be as full as it normally is during or after Thanksgiving, but I'll have stuff up. :)

One more day! Happy 85th Birthday Mickey...See Ya Real Soon!

Just to give a update to this since I am here now in Loop 800. The hayride came through on Wed around 6:30 or so and last night because it rained non stop through the night nothing came through. I am sure something will loop through tonight, I`ll let you know.

We are set up at #865. We have over 20 inflatables plus lights at our site. We have been here for 2 weeks and will be here till the 22nd. Come by!

Does anyone know the current times for the wagon rides? I did the wagon ride last year, and it was so much fun seeing the campsites decorated! I went off the internet saying 7 and 9:30 though, and I remember we showed up early because that was our arrival day and we weren't sure how long the trip would take. Anyway, it was good we were early because the posted times differed from what I'd read online, and we got there right when the first trip was loading.

As for the earlier poster who wanted to know about the wagon vs the carriage - the carriage can go down different routes because it's smaller, but my group was pleased with what we saw, especially factoring in the price difference :)

I was in site 845 last week and if your site was near the comfort station walk way, it was amazing! Great job with all the Disney stuff, it was fun to pass every day. I only brought two Disney blow ups, walk way Mickey Path lights that flashed (I think they were messed up) and some yard stakes and stuff this time.

Thanks for decorating!

nwcaninecenter, I can't wait to see your site..
We should be there late on the 13th..

we arrive Sunday the 15th for our first stay in the cabins! We are bringing our

Well, he won't be disappointed with the lights! Hope you all have a great time.we get there on the 13 late, but due to limited time we are staying at the Poly, we usually bring our fifth wheel for the Christmas break, thanks to the school calendar, but will be back next year camping. Can't wait to hear how he likes it all!

we are only there for 3 days but hope to see a lot of the displays. we have

rented a golf cart so we will be riding around every night looking.

since we have a cart it really doesn't matter what cabin we are in?

looking forward to just relaxing!!!
