I just registered my first baby for preschool! sniff sniff.... time sure flies!
She is ready for it, even though I am not. This is the begining of the Mom shuttle........... Drop Juju off at Day care, Maddie off at school, pick Maddie up, drop her off, back and forth back and forth! LOL Then when we add a dance class into the mix........ UGH The miles I am going to put on my van!
As I was signing her up I started to cry........ how dumb is that!?!
She is very personable, and most of me thinks she will do okay, but a part of me (the worried paranoid mom part) is FREAKING. Well she hit someone (she is not a hitter, but you never know), will other kids like her, can she sit still for the lessons, will she follow directions? UGH UGH UGH
I am not ready for my girls to grow up..... yet I cant wait until they do...........
Gotta love motherhood.
The main thing I am concerned about is she will know no one in her class..... I wanted her in the same class as her friend from Daycare, but the lady at the school said she would really be too old for that class (it started in January, and Miss Madeline would be close to 4 then and the class is geared for younger kids..... IE just turning 3) So she reccomended starting this September in the 3 year old class...... I guess I agree and I know there will be lots of NEW freinds to be made........ but the worried paranoid mom syndrome is in HIGH GEAR!
Thanks for letting me vent.... I have to go over the school supply list, and figure out what she is going to wear for her first day at school...................
