Yeah, my school district is terrible when it comes to that. Once we had like 6 inches of snow on the ground, with anther foot to come during the morning and the afternoon, and we still had school. Other days everything has been coated in ice, and we had school. I swear it takes Old Man Winter and like three feet of snow to get our school to cancel. I want to live in Tennessee. They call off school if there is a dusting.[/QUOTE]

Ahaha thats how we are hehehehe  :cool1: ;)

I will be "disneying and dising" this summer!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Mike, we call off school if the clouds just THINK about snowing. Three flakes and this town SHUTS DOWN.

yeah..I hear up there that you guys dont even get off when there are feet of snow on the ground. At least thats what my friends from around there tell me. The snow here is already melted..its like 45 degrees outside. Ohio has weird weather..thats why i would rather live down in florida!
I want to live in Florida. The weather is more predictable. It rains everyday. Plus sometimes you'll get the first two weeks off or so because of hurricanes. :smokin:

Not to mention I could make fun of all the people who are complaining how cold it is when it's like, 50 out.

I havn't been directly in a hurricane. My mom has been through three though. I always seem to leave right before they get hit badly. Although I did go through parts of Charlie and I think Katrina.

Do you remember Dennis? Well we went out on the beach and it was so awesome. So windy that i fell down haah. There were waves in the pool! But me and my sister and dad and my friend and my friends dad walked down the beach and the winds were at least 60-70 mph at least. The rain felt like pins and needles..me and my friends dad ran back..and he lost his contacts..we had to use our light weight jackets to cover our faces because of the rain. Funny thing is is that we only got the rain bands..i cant imagine what it would have been like near the eye of the storm. But heck..it was awesome..an awesome experience. No one was there in our condo complex...my family and my friends family were the only ones left on the island. My friends family was suppose to leave the day before the hurricane but their flight got cancelled...

I think so.

I also remember in 2003 my mom and I were at Universal Studios, and we got hit by a rainband of a hurricane. We walked out of the ride, and got pounded with wind and rain. As for mom, she was scared/annoyed. I was having a great time in that.
