We booked flights for October thats what !!!!!!

I cant quite believe it,its was not even discussed before today but DH had been thinkin about it for a while.

He had a day off work and had spent the morning lookin,I arrived home at 2.30 and by 2.45 it was done.

I am still in a state of shock.......

I keep looking at October for a short break but flights costs are too high for me, considering flying into Charlotte, NC to visit friends for a few days(3?) then drive down to Florida for a few days(5?) but £700+, saw some last Friday for a few hours showing at £598 but still too much. Sub £500 will book.

Glad you got a deal on car rental last year, ours was a bargain at £197 for 25 nights, nothing like that this year.

I would love to be able to keep it till the very last minute.
When we fly down to visit family in London and we always look for the Florida flights on the screens and joke about jumpin on that plane instead...if I could work it like that it would be brilliant.
