Hi!

We're purchasing 2 autograph books for our 2 children for our upcoming WDW trip. We also plan to try to do the Kidcot Stations at Epcot.

If we have the autograph books, will the Cast Members from the World Showcase stamp & sign the autograph books? Or do we need the passports?

Do the autograph books have enough pages for both a normal amount of character signatures & the World Showcase stamps?

I was just thinking it would be easier to only keep up w/ 1 book per child - plus, at the end of the trip, all their autographs & stamps would be in 1 place which would make a really nice souvenir.

What I would really like to do is have a picture of the child w/ the character beside the character's autograph & a picture of the child at the Kidcot station w/ the CM beside the country's stamp & CM's autograph. Is there room in the autograph books for this?

Thanks for all the advice & tips!! :earsgirl:

We used both-the Passport books are nice for the kids-they come with stickers for each country and have a spot for the stamp, etc.-but they're not necessary. We saved our autograph books for characters, but I know some people like having CMs sign autographs too. If you want to save some money, just go with the autograph book. The masks they make as they progress from country to country are also stamped (on the wooden handle), and our kids loved that part as well!

Yes the CM's will definately sign and stamp the autograph books and unless you meet a LOT of characters you should have enough room. We didn't know about the passport the first trip so we did use the autograph book in addition to the mask at WS. I don't have pictures of all the CM's - that is a good idea.

My girls liked doing the kidcot stations at each country. The CM stamps it and sometimes they'll sign the back, too, if they're not too busy. Best of all, kidcot masks are free. Last year if you went to all the countries and solved the puzzle in the little brochure they give you, you got a free Epcot 8x11 poster.

My kids, ages 3 and 5 loved the passports. They got them stamped at each country and even got their names written in different languages on each page. On the plane trip home they enjoyed putting the country stickers on each page in the passport and looking back at all the neat stamps. They masks were a hit as well.

Overall, Epcot was one of the highlights of the trip for the kids and I wasn't expecting them to enjoy it so much since they are young.

I hadn't planned on doing these but I am reconsidering now. What to do, what to do?

The passports are not very large and do not take up a lot of room and are not bulky to carry around. Hope this helps with your decision!

Do you need official Disney autograph book in order to get an autograph? My kids have autgraph books they want to bring with athletes signatures in them that they made. Is this acceptable?
