Me and my family are trying to do Disney cheaply this time round by not staying onsite and trying to eat cheaply offsite as we in general found eating in Disney was more expensive.

I just wondered if anyone knew in general what sort of cheap restaurants are located on this highway as this is where we are staying?

There are lots of restaurants to suit many budgets all over the place.

Just getting my map out ;)

You have Red Lobster, TGI Friday's, Chick Fil A (fast food type but well liked by us), Denny's, Sizzler, IHOP, Ponderosa, Perkins, Golden Corral, Bob Evans, Waffle House and you are also very close to Outback steakhouse which is very nice plus Black Angus steakhouse (never tried it).

All the above are are very closeby.

There is a pretty good map which shows all these and the location of your hotel too, you can buy it from www.disneymaps.co.uk

Thanks for your help :cool1: any particular one of those restaurants that you would recommend?

This is an excellent site for listing most of the restaurants on the 192.

The ones which I would recommend are IHOP, Outback Steakhouse, Pacinos, Sizzler, Red Lobster and Olive Garden.

Just checked out that map on the website, Johnny, it looks great! I think I'll wait for the 2nd edition, due in November, perfect timing for our trip!

PS I love the 'train' ticker!

We don't eat out too often to be honest, but certainly the Outback would be one to try.
You will find many of the chain restaurants such as Denny's, Sizzler, Ponderosa do buffet 'all you can eat' meals that can be good value for money.

It's quite common for them to serve buffet breakfast/lunch/dinner and it can help your budget.

It feels like West 192 has every chain restaurant known to man on it ;)

It means you get a great choice though. We like Denny's, Shoney's, TGI Fridays among many others :thumbsup2
