and on the way back home!!
I'm looking forward to going back :cool1:
This will be our first visit to VWL - our reservation was for a studio at BCV, and yesterday we decided to check on a 1 BR, instead. VWL was available! Boy, our kids are excited.

Any favorite VWL things we should do/look for?

You may have left already, but I hope you have a most wonderful time!

Bobbi :cheer2:

Take out a mouseboat for me - the most fun ever!!!!! Watch the geyser erupt by the pool - check out the sidewalk between the villas and the pool, lots of interesting animals have been there before you!!! Watch the antics at Whispering Canyon, even if you don't eat there. Have some chili at Roaring Forks - yum!!!! Enjoy the easy and fun commute to MK on the boat...

Have a great trip!!!!

Rent a surrey bike and ride over to the petting area at Fort Wilderness.

Watch the electrical water pageant.

Must eat at Artist Point!!!!!

Checkers for the kids at the Iron Spike room ,while mom enjoys a book in front of the fireplace in those HUGE comfy leather rockers....
OOOOOOHHHHH I'm jealous!!! Have a great time!! :flower:

The music.
One of my favorite things at VWL is the backround music. Some tunes are better than others, but all are great.

Just sit back in one of the chairs located in the VWL atrium, and peacefully listen to the haunting music....

Got to agree with MG. (Hey good to hear from you again MG). Nothing like the tunes from "The Magnificent Seven" or "How the West Was Won" to put you into the VWL mood.

(Sorry it's taken me so long to post this - whew! I'm finally sitting down after catching up with work that was backlogged while we were gone. )

:lovestruc We had an absolutely wonderful trip - the whole family loves VWL - our 1BR was spotless, and the CM's were all so nice. Very relaxing, on the whole.

We took the nature walk -it was closed for a bit since CMs were adding some interesting looking rope/climbing "things." I don't know what they are for ---anybody else know??

We made use of the downstairs fireplace/leather rocking chairs/checkers quite a few times. :flower:

We had a new CM at check in - poor guy, he kept trying to charge us $$ even though we were staying on points - it got straightened out, and he'll make a great CM once he earns his ears, ::MickeyMo

It was a little chilly while we were there, but we enjoyed the pools a few times. The heating element for the villa pool/hot tub broke while we were there, and they had it fixed in a little over a day.

Bus service was slow - from what I overheard, WDW was having a bad week with the buses - I never did find out why. Does VWL always share a bus (DTD) with the GF?

Loved taking the boats over to MK, Contemporary and FW. (I reallllly like that)

All in all, one of the best trips we've had done yet. :wave2:
