VWL waitlist ?

Has anyone had experience with a waitlist coming through for VWL? I am waitlisted for 10/22 and 10/23 which would finish out my week. What are my chances of it coming through? I would really love for it to come through before I make dining reservations but figure that is a real long shot.

You never know, it could happen. I've had most of my waitlists come through. The best strategy is to stalk the site, and have a waitlist. Pick up days as they come and reduce your waitlist for the remaining days. This is how I've gotten almost all my stays.

we had a studio waitlist come through for 10/27 - 11/1 in 2013. we got on the waitlist right at 7 months and it took about 3 weeks. we already had our home resort booked and would have been happy there so i didn't bother checking the website during that time period for openings. one day, i logged on and it was filled.
