VWL view

Can someone tell me a good view to request at VWL -- two-bedroom. We'll be going next November. We are already booked, but I didn't want to put any requests on the ressie until I got some advice from the "dis-ers". Hope you can help -- thanks!

lake side (the other side has the bad views) - close to the elevators

would be my request.

The majority of the views at VWL will be trees. The lake view is a hint of lake through the trees so don't expect a clear view.

While most views will be of trees, 'odd numbered' rooms face toward the pool or lake, while 'even numbered' rooms face in the direction of the front entrance, bus stop & parking area.

You can do a web search to find some sites that have 'DVC Room-Finder' tools & room location maps to assist in making your requests.

During our early october stay we had the 2-BR villa 3553 and I thought the view was quite nice:

It was quite far down the hallway but that wasn't a problem for us. View when standing at the villa door, looking down the corridor towards the rotunde where the elevators are:

When we checked in, we received a room facing the other side, close to the elevator but when we opened the door, Mousekeeping was having dinner at the table and said "Room not clean" So we went back to the reception and got the other room.
