VWL to Poly?

OK fellow DVCers-

So we've never stayed at VWL before and have a 8:15AM ADR for Ohana's character breakfast during our stay. If it were you how would you get there?

I have stayed at wilderness lodge several times and I think it is probably the most stunning hotel when you walk in. So, I am sure you will love it!

There are 2 ways you could go to the poly from vwl. Take the boat over to magic kingdom and either catch the monorail or the ferry back to the poly. The monorail would probably be easier though.

I would take the boat to CR, and then get on the monorail, the second stop will be the Poly

I agree, take the boat to the Contemporary (it is such a nice ride) and then hop the monorail to the Poly.

Just check to be sure that the boat to either MK or Contemporary begins at 7AM. If not, then I would plan on taking a taxi.

Ask at the desk at the lodge, they usually will provide you a driver to take you there, Last year we were not aware of that and had an early ADR at the Poly, we went to the bus stop, the first bus that came over was running between WL & FW, We asked the driver how to get to the Poly, He told us to hope on and he took us. Great guy, got a nice tip too, there were 13 of us.

I'm not sure the boat runs early enough for you to get to Poly that way. I remember last September I was at the boat dock with a family who had an early ADR for CRT, and the boat captain told them that they should take the bus to MK. I realize that doesn't get you to Poly, but I just thought I'd mention it.

If you have a car, I would drive. It is only a few miles at the most. There is a 3 hr parking limit. We had to do this the last time we did this.
