VWL to MK for EE - best way

Hi:

We will be at the VWL and would like to do MK early entry one day. What is the best means of transportation (bus or boat) and how early should we be at the respective stop?

I would take the boat. The boat ride itself takes less than 10 minutes and the boats run every 20 minutes.
