VWL Studio room requests

We just booked a VWL studio (actually, we rented points from a DVC member, and they boked the studio for us) for the middle of May. We've stayed at the WL before, but never at the Villas. Can anyone give me some tips on room requests. I haven't wandered around the Villas too much--can you see Bay Lake from any the rooms? Has anyone had a particular view/floor that they especially liked? Any info would help. Thanks a lot!

We are owners at the VWL and the best view IMHO is the quiet pool view from an upper floor. Most of the views at the VWL are woods view. If you ask over on the DVC board, you will get a lot of responses.

We rented points from a DVC owner a few years back and had an incredible time!! I would recommend requesting a room with a view of the pool/lake close to WL... We had a room on the 4th or 5th floor that was near the end of the hall (in the direction of WL), which meant that the walk to the resort and main pool was considerably shorter than if we'd stayed at the far end of WLV. Our view of the pool and lake was great! You can even see some of the electric water pageant if you try!!

You need to get the member to modify the reservation to put your request on the reservation. They have asked that members (or guests) NOT call the desk or fax the desk to make last minute requests.

Hi,
I have added a link so you may look at the different Villa types and their location...if you ask for a Studio close to the elevators facing the woods on the Bay Lake side, you should be good.
