VWL smell in the mail

While hoping the new vacation planner would be in the mail today(much to no avail ) I did receive another good vybe in the mail. A Yankee Candle catalog(actually DWs catalog). Anyway, some of yall might remember in the past some posts here about the scent Autumn Lodge bearing a close resemblance to the smell in the lobby of VWL. Well they did away with that candle some time ago.

But today, they had a new one in the catalog called Sparkling Pine that is close to that lobby smell, IMO. Cant wait to get one to try soon! I sure cant wait to get back "home" again. I got it bad!

I've have a shave cream that snaps me back to "Norway" everytime I use it. I thought it was real close to the "Laila" fragrance, but after our last visit, I noticed it was not as close as I had originally thought. But...................too late, my brain has already made the connection, and I shan't try to persuade it otherwise.

Lately our towels have been smelling like WDW towels. I asked DW what she was using now to wash with. She said she bought a big size of Gain at Sams Club. I told her we need to continue using that brand. DD13 agreed.

Vero Beach has a dinstinct lobby smell that I just recently figured out what it was. We just recently got an Ionic Breeze for a room in our house and the other day I walked in the room and there was that Lobby smell... Ionized air!

They clean the lobby air with a huge ionizer! Probably do in all the resorts.

Next time we're at VB I'm going to record the lobby music and sounds for about 30 minutes then I can replay them in our room with the lobby smell and just close my eyes... and I'm there

I have one of those too.. makes thing smell nice and fresh... however, it has been shown that those things can produce "toxic" levels of ozone (I think they come with ozone filters now)...

jimmytammy - Let me know how close it is to the smell when you get it. I have that catalogue, too and was looking for a couple to buy. I'd love one that smells like VWL.

After reading thiss thread, it made me very interested in the Autmn Lodge candle. I checked the Yankee Candle website & they have the Autumn Lodge candle on there. I'll be checking my local store to see if they have it too.

"Mistletoe" by Yankee Candle smells just like the Christmas store in Downtown Disney.

No. I figured if I made it's own thread, I would get too many responses. This is for the "VWL" print that you get when you buy VWL direct from Disney.

The store salesperson said they didnt know if it would be released again or not. Im gonna go get some to keep as spares. Havent made it yet to pick up Sparkling Pine.

Just an FYI. I called 2 stores in my area & neither had any Autumn Lodge product. The only place I actually saw it was on the website. That may be your only hope.
