WE have a 1 bedroom booked for a week from Sunday through March 27. Is there any place we don't want to be? I think I would like a lake view, but not sure? HELP!

Husband is a diehard BCV man and staying somewhere else is making him nervous. I don't want to hear,"I told you we should have stayed at BCV."

Also, should I try for a dedicated or is lock-off okay? Have only ever stayed in Dedicated at BCV.

The only difference between a lockoff and dedicated 1 bedroom is the lockoff door. Everything else is the same. Your reservation is already coded one way or the other, it's not a request.

The only time I stayed there we had a partial lakeview, also faced the quiet pool. Our room door faced the atrium, which was close to the elevator. It was nice. There is a room map posted somewhere, if I could find it I could probably tell you the room #. I think we were on the 4th floor. The rooms you want to avoid are at the end of the hall, facing the dreaded dumpster.

Here it is:

I think we were in 4523.

You don't really get much of a lake view because the trees are blocking the view.

:earsboy: Bill

However, if you get a lake view, you won't have the dumpster view, as it is on the opposite side of the building.

We are going for our first stay the second week of October. Is there a way to make sure we don't to get a dumpster view?

All you can do is make a request to be close to the elevator but it's really the luck of the draw, if the resort is full someone is going to get those rooms.

I know so many people love WVL..but, my husband is also a DIE hard BCV fan. We stayed at WVL lodge last year and he vowed that we will always go back to BCV. The pool is what gets him...he loves it. I love WVL too ---but, the rest of my family will never get over the BCV pool.

We stayed at VWL in Jan in a 2 bedroom, we were on the 5th floor, second room from the end facing the lake. I would request a lake view, or a water view, since lake or pool are on the same side of the building. It was quiet, and we were lucky, right where our room was there was an opening in the trees that we could watch the Light Parade on the Water at nite. It was cold in Jan but we still enjoyed standing out there to see it and also in the monring seeing the water was nice.

my husband will feel just the same (wishing he was at SAB). I keep telling him he needs to branch out!

Also, just called MS and added lake view and near elevator to request. Hopefully, no dumpster view for us! :thumbsup2
