Had a few questions regarding VWL....

Do the TVs have DVD players or just Vcrs?

Is there a covered walkway between the villas & the lodge?

Next year we would like to do a 2 bedroom...I'd like to get the set up that has the 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom...is this request usually granted if it is your home resort and you make the request at the 11 month window? Is this configuration available on the first floor?

Hi, in my memory the walkway to WL from VWL is covered all of the way.

I don't know about the VCR vs. DVD players, we didn't use the TV's in the 2 bedroom we had this past August. However, all villas are going to have DVD players according to the recent business meetings. I guess it's just a question of the conversion schedule.

I do not think there are dedicated 2 bedrooms on the first floor. The other floors have them, and at VWL, they will all have 2 Q's in the second bedroom. It's a type of villa, ask for a dedicated. We've gotten them when we've asked at 10 -11 month window.

The VWL have DVD players in the rooms. No VCRs.

Most all the views are woods views. We had a nice one last month. There are a few pool views and fewer still that see a bit of the lake through the trees.

We had rooms 5537 and 5541 (both dedicated 2 bedrooms) last week and had a gorgeous view of the lake. These rooms were not too far from the elevators.

I wouldn't request a specific room number, almost all of the rooms lakeside have the same type of view - water through the trees, so if that is what you want then I'd request that. Or maybe pool view or something of that nature. You will know when you reserve if it is dedicated or lockoff, just ask. If it is a dedicated you will have the 2 queen beds in the 2nd BR. I can't remember where the floor map is at on the web, but I do recall that there are no dedicated 2BRs on the 1st floor.

I had a dedicated 2 bedroom on the 5th floor and we were thrilled with it. My first stay was on the first floor and I was not so thrilled. I love the balcony. There is a covered walkway. Book early and enjoy!!


Our first stay was not in a dedicated 2 bedroom, referring to the view and balcony.

Thank you for all the info!! I definitely want a dedicated 2 bedroom...I had a first floor in my mind...guess I have to get over that, huh?

What other interesting and or fun things should I be aware of?
