VWL or BCV Studio in mid-December?

We just stayed at the YC so I am leaning toward toward the VWL since I have never stayed there and it will be all "Christmasy". But the location of the BCV is so convienent!! Which would you choose and why?

If you are thinking of this year, the answer may be moot. My guess is that both resorts are already completely booked for mid-December. Good luck!

It looks like you are talking about Dec 07, so you'll want to have you points lined up by Jan 07 so you get that 11 month advantage. Find someone with the home resort where you want to stay. VWL is very nice in December, all decked out for the holidays. And the Christmas tree in the villa lobby is really pretty.

Of course, BC is awful pretty, too, at the holiday times.

Since you have stayed at the YC which is similar, I'd go with VWL.

Remember, it's the smallest DVC, so you need that 11 month advantage.

we stayed at WL late last NOV when it was decorated for the holidays. it was FANTASTIC! i would definitely recommend it - in fact, we're on the wait list for VWL this Thanksgiving, too!

haven't stayed at BCV yet, so i can't say what it's like during the holidays...

Thanks! Yes I am renting points from a friend and she actually owns at both so I could have 11 months at either! Lucky gal!

I would also go with VWL - you can't find a lovely resort around Christmas - it will take your breath away.

the MK is the most popular park during that time - so easy access to it is a plus.

December can be iffy weatherwise, one of the big attractions to the BCV is the pool SALB. It would horrible to stay there to use that pool and find you can't because the weather is too cold.
