VWL or AKV or OKW ?

I need some input folks...we book our stay this week for Dec and wonder which will be best for our 7 year old (this is only his 2nd trip to WDW, our 9th) ...I am looking a 1 bdr at VWL, hubby thinks maybe we should do AKL this time, or should we stick with OKW?

I think availability will dictate where you stay. That is a very difficult time of year to book a DVC resort.

If you don't own at AKV, I don't even think you can waitlist for that yet(that's sometime in June), and I'm guessing you will have to go on a waitlist for VWL. Best wishes that you get something you'll like. For December, I would pick VWL.

Depending on your exact dates, you may well have to waitlist for anything at this late date. I agree with Bobbi that VWL would be the best choice in December, but there aren't any bad choices! Good luck and have a great trip.

I'm missing something. How do you know your dates are available when Member Services is closed today? Availability can change in a minute.

(I'd recommend VWL, also, but it's small and gets very booked in December. It's so cozy to sit in front of the fireplace.)

Wow, I'm surprised you got that at this date. I'm curious. Are you a DVC member? Are you renting these points? I ask because I've noticed that you've been on the rental board seeking points for a stay at the VWL. I also noticed that a stay for those dates at VWL sold on Ebay today.

actually, I've managed to get those dates very last minute ie in Nov for Dec booking, too. that week is much quieter than the first week of Dec
