We are planning a family trip to wdw . My husband and I are heading up alone for a few days and have booked a 1 bedroom at the vwl. When the rest of the family joins us we will get a 2 bedroom there. What is the difference between a dedicated and 2 bedroom lock -off except for the door in the studio part and the absence of the mini kitchen? We request close to the elevators so do I have a better chance of that happening by booking a lock-off? Also what are the chances of them letting us stay in our 1 bedroom and just opening up the studio next door when the family gets there so we don't have to move?

The dedicated 2-bedroom will have 2 queen beds in the second bedroom. The lock-off uses the studio as the second bedroom and it will have a queen bed and a sleeper sofa.
