We'll be there in about 24 days with two 2BR and one studio. I made my ressies at the 11 month mark and requested the villas be near to each other and non smoking. We are confirmed for Dedicated 2BR. DH says get on line and ask for the best rooms to ask for upon arrival. I'm assuming they will be preassigned, but who knows! We'll try to arrive around 10:00 a.m to make sure we have a chance at getting what we want. Anyway, lets pretend I have the pick of the rooms. Which two 2BR dedicated with a studio nearby would you want?

When we were at the VWL over Christmas, the rooms were pre-assigned. Your best bet would be to call MS and ask to have a specific view added to your reservation. We like the view of the quiet pool from an upper floor. We have had a dedicated 2BR with that view and it was very nice.

Have a great trip.

I'm glad you asked gracerlm - we just switched our reservation for December to VWL - guess I should call MS back and put our request on the ressie now. Was wondering about faxing them at the four-day window prior to arrival - do that also as an added safety?

Here is a link with some room reports and it will give you some view comments. http://members.aol.com/InstImpres/wildernesslodge.pdf This will give you an idea of “sectional views”. It is extremely difficult to ask for a specific room (as well as trying on the CM’s). With the new room ready policy, guests have reported getting several choices at check-in and this may than help

I have also created a sheet that just has some highlights of rooms that may not work for everyones needs. You might find that helpful instead:

The files are in adobe acrobat and which can be downloaded from this site for free:

There jave been notes in the newsletter and the website asking that people not fax the room controllers. Apparently, it was getting out of hand
